An Artist
"What does it mean "to write well"?
An artist--using the word in its genuine rather than childish meaning-is not a craftsman who knows how to evenly distribute "lively images", "telling details of everyday life", "colorful landscapes", and other trifles in his books; an artist is the one who finds a rhythm unknown before, and enlives and permeates the world he has created by this rhythm."

You have some of the most profound and provocative photos, especially the ones in black&white, and they are simply beautiful. I love seeing and reading your unique and wonderful blog, Nettie. I knew there was a reason I always loved New Orleans, not to mention the blues, the architecture, the history, the art, its nature, its magical life, and, now, you. There were so many blogs/images of you I wished to choose for my first comment after becoming one of your friends (via Twitter), and thank you, but I decided on this one since the photographer's name is Dave and I love your camisole you are wearing in the pic. Please, best wishes with your poetic writing, modeling, diary, travel, and just plain, ordinary every-day work and life! Love, Willow (David W.)
