An Artist
"What does it mean "to write well"?
An artist--using the word in its genuine rather than childish meaning-is not a craftsman who knows how to evenly distribute "lively images", "telling details of everyday life", "colorful landscapes", and other trifles in his books; an artist is the one who finds a rhythm unknown before, and enlives and permeates the world he has created by this rhythm."
-Nabokov
My first thought was primal because of the perceived scream.
But I am also taken with the symmetry of it. The arc of the sweater neck mirroring the arc of your butt. Your open mouth mirrors the openness of your spread legs. The grip on your feet is almost identical as are the positions of your arms and legs.
After some pondering I have to say it's a very striking image.
