Nancy looked into her eyes. They seemed to bare her soul, asking "Why?" Nancy looked away, cast her dreaming eyes downward, her so- chic heels and Chloe skirt seemed less elegant now. Nancy whispered softly, faintly, hoping no one overheard, "You would be no less beautiful with my haute couture and far less an angel, for sure."
