An Artist
"What does it mean "to write well"?
An artist--using the word in its genuine rather than childish meaning-is not a craftsman who knows how to evenly distribute "lively images", "telling details of everyday life", "colorful landscapes", and other trifles in his books; an artist is the one who finds a rhythm unknown before, and enlives and permeates the world he has created by this rhythm."
-Nabokov
I think in viewing the larger image that your face is just sharp enough to make said image very successful. For all the various aspects, the environment, foreground & background, costume, pose, expression, depth of field, and Light, interacting on many levels, it yet somehow all seems to fit and the image has a good oneness and integrity, maybe even a certain sense of the whole being greater than the sum of the parts, which isn't the most common thing to achieve. (I'm not sure if this can be so easily seen in the smaller image...and then again, who the heck really knows what the image ends up looking like color-wise on a random computer monitor.)
Absolutely beautiful!
